| Join the Barcelona Council . . . . . We invite you to join the Barcelona Council of the Navy Leavy of the U.S., chartered in 1978. You will learn more about the U.S. armed forces such as the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine, and the sea services of the Allied Forces. Meet officers and crews of visiting vessels and attend dinners and social events, lectures, and gatherings -- and, most of all, tour the ships. Membership in the Barcelona Council is open to all residents of Spain -- you need not have prior service in the Navy. We invite Americans (not on active duty), as well as non-Americans to join. Meetings and dinners are conducted in English. Individual Membership A membership certificate is awarded on joining the Navy League. We offer special rates for people under 30 as well as husband and wife memberships. Membership also offers Navy League benefits..... discounted merchandise and services not available to the general public, like car, RV and motocycle rentals and reduced rates for hotel accommodations: discounts on computers, flowers and internet services. Even a Navy League MasterCard. And donīt forget Sea Power Magazine and the Almanac of Sea Power for the latest developments of naval-related activities. We also publish a quarterly newsletter of the Barcelona Countil. Finally, our members have access to the Navy League Online Community, with news and events about our Council and other Councils around the world. Individual Membership costs 101 Euros for one year or 241 Euros for three years.
